The EGAD Architectural and Engineering Group would like to announce the addition of J. David Ruff to their expanding architectural department.
Ruff, a resident of Canton, Georgia, received his education from
Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia. Before his
graduation in 1997, he received the Atlanta CSI Foundation Scholarship
Award and the Georgia AIA Merit Award for Excellence in Architecture.
Prior to hiring on with EGAD, Ruff worked for CDH Partners as Senior
Project Manager and Stewart Architects, L.L.C. in Canton, Georgia as
Lead Designer.
As a new member of the EGAD team, Ruff looks to immediately
contribute to EGAD’s recent growth and success. Because of EGAD’s
recent expansion to include development beyond the self-storage
industry, they wanted to acquire someone with a wealth of experience in
many different types of development. With experience in the fields of
healthcare, hospitality, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, and
retail development, Ruff will deliver exactly that. Among David’s major
projects, he has performed substantial renovations, restorations, and
additions to several Atlanta area hospitals as well as historic
renovation on the famous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. Ruff will be
a major contributor to the growth of the EGAD team as they expand their
clientele to include projects from various areas of development.
Located in Acworth, Georgia, EGAD Group is a team of architectural
and engineering specialists who work together to manage the entire
design process.
